Semi GPC is from the insulation layer of acheson furnace. it is economical recarburizer with high fixed carbon, lower sulphur contect, fast dissolution rate and high absorption rate.
CPC is obtained by heating green petroleum coke at temperature as high as 1400 C. with hign electrically conductive low specific reistance, CPC is widely used in the aluminum anode, graphite eelctrode, and other carbon cunsuming industries.
Anode material is an artificial graphhite product. it features with high capacity, high press density, high first efficiency, low expansion, and long cycle performance with 1.0~1.5C charging rate, etc.

Graphite electrodes are used in both DC and AC electric arc furnaces. Steelmaking workshops have to cover the cost of these consumable electrodes during new steel production process.
Carbon Electrodes are used in electrolysis due to their competence as a conductor and the number of free electrons they have availabe for transfer. Not only is carbon an efficient conductor, it also has a very high melting point.
